High Temperature Operating CLED Models provides a new, simpler way for use in Next Generation Lighting Applications. Our High Temperature Operating CLED Modules can be used where others fail due to operation in a high heat environment. VOS CLED is ideal for applications in commercial and industrial lighting, in areas with high heat index, including deserts, confined spaces and low ventilated areas. High Temperature Operating CLED Models come in two versions; a ‘High Temperature Strip’ or a ‘High Temperature Round’.

In the past one of the major obstacles for LED’s lighting have been the thermal (HEAT) dissipation issues. Many costly partial solutions have been tried and are currently in place to include special heat dissipating metals and running at lower than optimum operational ratings. Currently standard LED’s cannot survive high heat over 90Cel for 1 minute or more periods of time without severe light derogation or a complete burn out state.

These modified High Temperature Operational Strips and Round CLED’s can operate without a heat sink and in high temperatures

They have been tested and run without heatsinks at 120 deg cel for 90 days without any light degradations. For best results and loner lifespan though some heatsinks should be used.
